Our Company under the name «Professional Massage Athens» was founded in 2022 to fill a specific gap in the Athens market and respond to the needs of the modern and constantly changing era. It addresses people who’ve been looking for a genuinely professional massage session, performed by licensed therapists, without having to commute to a spa, sit in a reception area, or share a treatment room with strangers. We don’t run a spa. We bring the spa experience directly to your place, with the same clinical standards a serious physiotherapy practice would expect from itself.
Every therapist on our team holds certified credentials as a massage therapist or physiotherapy assistant, with formal training in human anatomy and the physiology of soft tissue. Most have worked in physiotherapy centers, gyms, and spa environments before joining us. This isn’t a service that hires anyone willing to learn on the job. It’s a service built on therapists who already know what they’re doing before the first client sees them. We’ve also built internal service standards around the parts of in-home massage that clients commonly worry about: punctuality, discretion, hygiene, and how a therapist conducts themselves inside someone’s space.
Before any therapist works with a single client of ours, they pass a multi-level screening that goes beyond their formal credentials. The process includes a security check, an interview with a psychologist, and theoretical and practical examinations conducted by our lead therapist. Anyone entering a client’s home or hotel room is someone we’ve vetted for both technical skill and personal conduct. Nothing about this is left to chance.
A traditional spa visit costs you the session, plus an hour of commute, plus the friction of reception, changing rooms, and the unfamiliar environment most people don’t actually relax in. Our service removes all of that. You stay in your own space, while our specialists bring all the necessary equipment (the professional table, the linens, the oils, and the trained hands). What you don’t get is the inconvenience that usually attaches itself to a premium treatment.
